...500 Pine / Cap to the Hill party...

Last night I attended a pretty fabulous private party on Capitol Hill. Thrown in the Havana parking lot by another local blog, Cap to the Hill, and sponsored by Jansport, it was a rather epic gathering of hipsters, fashionistas, gorgeous gay men and covert backpack advertising.

Donning my best hipster-meets-90's leotard/high-waisted denim skirt/navajo belt outfit, my usual compatriot (and former cap hill resident) Karina and I talked our way past the ridiculous entry line and into the festivities.

The theme was an homage to the bars and hipster haunts that were torn down at 1000 Pike. Using projection screens and small sets, they recreated scenes from cap hill days gone by.

One of the recreations...

Totally on point: short, body-con, and perfect summer colors...

projections on the wall...

THAT is a jacket...

the DJ on high...

Love this pic. Her eyes, hair & headband were amazing together!

hey boys hey

hats off to you boys, you look hot.

adorable girl, vintage dress...

I just like that his shirt has the space needle as a space ship...

Dress & boots, a popular look that night...

Fab.u.lous.

"The theme was an homage to the bars and hipster haunts that were torn down and replaced by the very parking lot where the fete was held."

The parking lot that replaced that block is at 500 Pine; the party was at 1000 Pike.
